Bendigo Volunteer Resource Centre (BVRC) is the lead agency for volunteering in Central Victoria. It provides vital links for resourcing, supporting and connecting volunteers and Volunteer Involving Organisations across the region.

BVRC fosters effective volunteering by:

  • Mentoring & linking volunteers to meaningful volunteer roles with local community organisations
  • Training volunteers; (Step into Volunteering sessions)
  • Promoting best practice volunteering
  • Supporting and mentoring volunteer managers; (Bendigo Volunteer Network & Skilled Volunteer Team)

There is no such thing as a typical volunteer. Anyone can volunteer and it really does make you a better person as well as making your community an even better place to live.

We welcome all volunteering enquiries including:

  • Event Volunteering (support your community events)
  • Skilled or Project Volunteering and Mentoring Opportunities
  • Formal volunteering in volunteer managed programs
  • Youth Volunteering
  • Corporate Volunteering
  • Spontaneous Volunteering

The Volunteer Hub Team enjoy site visits to other not-for-profit organisations in the Greater Bendigo Community. The below photo was captured in our most recent visit to Peppergreen Farm, where we spent much time learning about the organisation and exploring what they have to offer. A special thank you to Peppergreen Farm for hosting our visit.

Members of the Volunteer Hub Team smile and laugh at the camera while gathered for a social occasion.
